The International Honey Exporters Organization (IHEO) was founded in 1984 at Apimondia in Mexico City by three representatives from honey exporting countries. After more than 30 years, the IHEO has 14 7 country-members representing more than 85% of the honey exports in the world, with representatives from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Hungary, India, Mexico, New Zealand, Salvador, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam.

Origin of IHEO

The primary purpose of the IHEO is to keep exporters of the member countries informed of the honey situation and prices in the main exporting countries.
