The International Honey Exporters Organization (IHEO) was founded back in 1984 in the Apimondia in
Mexico City by three exporter country-representatives.
After more than 20 years, the IHEO has 17 country-members representing more than 85% of the honey
exports in the world. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Hungary, India,
Mexico, New Zealand, Salvador, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam have representatives in the
organization.

La Organizacion Internacional de Exportadores de Miel (IHEO) fue fundada en el año de 1984 durante la
Apimondia llevada a cabo en la Ciudad de Mexico por representantes de tres países.
Después de más de 20 años, la IHEO tiene 17 países miembros que juntos representan el 85% de la miel
exportada del mundo.
